This course expands on CADD fundamentals, focusing on technical and architectural 2D and 3D design. Students gain skills in orthographic, auxiliary, section, and isometric views, 3D part modeling, floor plans, and material estimation. Emphasizing accuracy and real-world application, this course provides a strong foundation for careers in engineering, architecture, and related fields. Students are eligible for dual enrollment credit through CMCC’s Running start program, enabling a college credit pathway in design.
