Students enrolled in this course are serious about a career in the food service industry. Emphasis is placed on cooking skills and techniques. The priority of this course is to have students operate our licensed in-house food service operation, Mineral Spring Cafe. Students have a more in-depth study about safety, sanitation, and cooking methods and techniques as well as professional expectations and attitudes that will make them successful in the workforce.
