CONWAY, NH – Kennett High School’s DECA chapter has achieved Thrive Level recognition for the 2024-2025 school year, placing them among 1,100 top-performing chapters nationwide. As a result, KHS DECA will be honored at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC), set for April 26-29, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. This marks the chapter’s first ICDC appearance since 2007.
To earn this distinction, KHS DECA successfully completed two of three chapter campaigns—Community Service and Promotional—through impactful projects benefiting both local businesses and nonprofits. Their initiatives included a large-scale Halloween fundraiser at Intervale Crossing, the festive “Twinkle in the Pines” event at Nestlenook Farm, and a rebranding campaign for the Kevin Peare Memorial Skate Park that promoted mental health awareness and inclusion.
The efforts of 30 dedicated DECA members, under the guidance of advisor Hannah-Jo Weisberg, exemplified professionalism, leadership, and commitment to community engagement. Their achievements will be celebrated at ICDC, where they will join top DECA chapters from across the nation.
