Students in the Culinary Arts program have been busy spreading holiday cheer through their impressive culinary skills and community service efforts. From preparing festive treats to supporting charitable causes, their dedication to both craft and community has made a significant impact.

In the weeks leading up to the holidays, students successfully fulfilled $1,000 worth of Thanksgiving treats-to-go orders, followed by another $700 in Christmas treats-to-go. Their efforts extended beyond catering, as they took charge of crafting a full menu for the Faculty and Staff Holiday Breakfast on December 20, showcasing their ability to plan and execute large-scale culinary events.

The spirit of giving was also at the heart of their work. Students participated in the Angel and Elves fundraiser at Nestlenook Farm on December 14, where they created a Holiday Tree decorated with food items, recipes, and baking utensils to support families in need. Additionally, they prepared baked goods for a dance and chorus fundraiser, helping to generate funds for performing arts programs.

In a particularly heartfelt gesture, the Culinary Arts students are assembling a special holiday care package filled with homemade Christmas treats for a faculty member facing family health challenges this season. Their generosity reflects not only their passion for cooking but also their commitment to supporting those around them.

As the Culinary Arts program continues to combine skill-building with community service, students are gaining real-world experience while making a difference—one delicious dish at a time.
